MCSS Executive Elections 2007

Nomination period closes on Thursday, November 22nd at 11:50 pm. To nominate yourself, please fill out an online nomination form. Voting day is Thursday, November 29th on Blackboard's MCS group (portal.utoronto.ca).

Below are the vacant MCSS executive positions.

Position Title Position Details
Special Events Coordinator This executive is responsible for the production and coordination of the Club's events. This includes, but is not limited to, developing event ideas and recommendations, ensuring detailed planning and programming of events, ensuring the high quality and excellent execution of events, and ensuring the recruitment of event volunteers.
Volunteer Coordinator This executive is responsible for the coordination of the volunteers of the Club. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring awareness of the activities of volunteers, ensuring the recruitment of volunteers for the Club, promoting volunteer opportunities to the community, and building the volunteer capacity of the Club.
Promotions Director This executive is responsible for the spirit and publicity of the Club. This includes, but is not limited to, developing promotional ideas and recommendations, ensuring that promotional material for the Club's events, projects, and campaigns, are created, and ensuring the promotional material is properly distributed and displayed, and reaching its intended audience.
First Year Representative This executive is responsible for the communication between the Club's first year students and the Club. This includes, but is not limited to, serving as a liaison for the Club's first year students, ensuring promotion of the Club to the Club's first year students, ensuring issues and concerns relating to the Club's first year students are addressed, and aiding the Club's first year students in their transition to university life.
